Beautiful The Carole King musical - Live Show

The sensational new London show, Beautiful The Carole King Musical has already created a stir on Broadway and has become one of the hugely anticipated musicals in Westend. Aldwych Theatre is running the houseful shows and making waves amongst the theatre lovers. The show, Beautiful The Carole King Musical has won various awards and acclamations.

The story of Beautiful The Carole King musical revolves around the multi award winning singer/writer Carole King. The show beautifully depicts the roller coaster ride of Carole from shy teenager to superstar. The blockbuster show also depicts her relationship with husband and song writer partner Gerry Goffin.

Beautiful The Carole King Musical also portrays her relationship with Barry Mann and Cynthia Wei, her song writing rivals. At the young age of 17, she sold her first solo hit, “It Might As Well Rain Until September”. She was working with all the biggest names in the music industry at the age of 21 such as The Drifters, The Shirelles, Aretha Franklin and The Monkees.

The show beautifully depicts all her struggle while balancing her confidence, family and as an artist. Douglas McGrath has written the book of musical, whereas music and lyrics by Gerry Goffin, Carole King, Barry Mann and Cynthis Weil.

The two hours and thirty minutes is a complete audio visual treat and features some great musical numbers such as “Take Good Care of my Baby”, “Will You Love Me Tomorrow”, “Locomotion”, “One Fine Day”, “You’ve Got a Friend”, and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”, “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling”, “On Broadway” and “Uptown” from songwriters Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.
